Dear Families and Supporters of Chances for Children:
Many of you know that Chances for Children provides financial and strategic support for the orphanage Crèche de Enfant Jesus, located in Ti Mache, Haiti. We have the opportunity for the second year in a row to send down much needed supplies to the orphanage that provides for 65 children at various stages in the adoption process. Last year, we were able to provide about 6 months of supplies of formula and other needed foods to help provide nutritious meals for the children, many of whom enter care in malnourished conditions.
The container will be going down to Haiti in early November, so we ask that everyone ship their items no later than October 30, 2009. If you choose to participate, after you ship your boxes, please let Chances for Children know how many of each box your party sent as well as when our export service can expect to receive the shipment. This step is very important so we can be sure to know exactly how much was provided.
